SWOT Analysis

SWOT is an acronym for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. SWOT is an assessment of your current reality. Most people are familiar with the concept, but in my experience, most people do it wrong. You can only assess if you are strong or weak at something in the context of where you ultimately want to end up. You must clarify your long-term strategic moves first. Then you use SWOT to define your current reality so clearly that an outside investor performing due diligence on your company would come to the same conclusions as you.
