This course will teach you a step-by-step process to make robust strategic decisions and create “the bones” of a strategic plan in a simple one-page format that will provide direction and focus for your team. We will “flesh out” additional strategic decisions during our ongoing work together, and “add muscle” by incorporating strategy execution best practices to drive speed of implementation. 

This advanced course is designed for members of senior leadership teams (and staff who want to actively participate in the strategic planning process). It will teach you a proven, best-practice process to think strategically, ask the right questions, debate the options, make decisions, and create your strategic plan.

Topics covered include guidance on how to:

– Create a compelling future vision (BHAG) for your company
– Identify and focus on the needs of your “bullseye” target customer
– Know what “game” you are playing, and play to win
– Understand industry forces and confront the brutal facts
