This is the 10-Step process I recommend to scope and execute your Strategic Projects (aka the “Big Rocks” you want to move forward this quarter). 1. Choose the core project team > 2. Conduct research > 3. Define what success looks like > 4. List the top 3 benefits > 5. Clarify roles (RACI) > 6. Scope the project > 7. Conduct premortem > 8. Leadership sign-off > 9. Execute with a weekly project meeting > 10. After Action Review + celebrate! Then get ready to sprint again.
